Book of the Festival – UAC – Thursday 17th
Dead As Doornails by Anthony Cronin – Published by Lilliput Press, with an introduction from Joseph O’Connor, this is a 50th year edition of Cronin's 1976 masterpiece memoir of post-war literary Dublin of Behan and Kavanagh and Flann O’Brien.

Baggtonia Art at the Oriel Gallery – Oriel Gallery – Friday 18th
The Oriel Gallery will host Victor Richardson 70th, an exhibition of exclusive limited-edition prints of Richardson's work featuring the Grand Canal, St. Stephen’s Green, Merrion Square and more. T
Theatre Baggotonia at the Dot – The Dot Theatre – Friday 18th
Marking the grand history of theatre and plays written by, for and about Baggotonia, The Dot Theatre will host workshops, readings of Beckett and more for a distinctly Baggotonian audience at the former Focus Theatre on Pembroke Place.

Film of the Festival – Lansdowne Hotel – Saturday 19th
The Laughing Boy - by Alan Gilsenan, featuring Liam O'Maonlai - a film about a Brendan Behan song that inspired the anthem of resistance to the Greek dictatorship in the 1970's and is still sung today, the screening will be hosted as ever in the Lansdowne Hotel Theatre.
Poetry on the Canal – Grand Canal – Saturday 19th
With members of the United Arts Club will read from the great poets of Baggotonia at the Patrick Kavanagh Statue, Wilton Terrace. There may well be singing at this unique event for Baggotonians young and old.
Baggotonia Boat Party – Grand Canal – Saturday 19th
Passengers are invited to paint the canal purple aboard La Peniche barge and to cruise the canal in style. Light refreshments will be available from the bar on the boat and wearing purple will be an essential part of the trip.

Painting Plein Air – Grand Canal – Sunday 20th
The now annual celebration of painting on the canal and across Baggotonia and attracting painters from all over Ireland this wonderful and active celebration of painting is now part of the Plein Calendar nationally.

Baggotonia Vintage Car Show – Baggotonia – Sunday 20th
Vintage cars and historic vehicles from the bygone era will be seen on the byways of Baggotonia. This event is only possible with extraordinary support from The Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club (IVVCC) and the aim this year is to see these beauties on the high-street. Thank you Paula Hatton!
Baggotonia Children's Art Competition – Throughout the Festival
With almost five hundred entries last year this years competition will feature Barges of Baggotonia as the theme. The Baggotonia Children’s Art Competition is greatly supported by local schools and expertly run by Europass Teacher Academy.
Bagotonia Walks & Talks - Throughout the Festival
Multiple of walks and talks throughout the festival including Dublin and ‘Baggotonia Through The Ages’ from Joe Cooke running each day as well as self-guided walks around Baggotonia from the Dylan Hotel. Also, Rediscovering Harry Kernoff talk by Vitor Vicente Author and more to be held at the Schoolhouse Hotel.
Bars-of-Baggotonia & Big-Baggotonia-Quiz - Throughout the Festival
The launch of the Bars-of-Baggotonia initiative which aims to bring all of the bars into the Baggotonia Festival celebration and to help keep the Baggotonia spirit going all year round. Also the Big-Baggotonia-Quiz with this year’s charity LauraLynn
